Aikido Training Program for Ages 3–4

We offer Aikido training programs for children in this age group at our centers.

Unlike other groups, this program follows a parent-participation system.

During the training:

  • The child attends the class together with a parent
  • Or a designated adult chosen by the parent participates as the child’s partner

The entire system is built on a child + partner (parent) structure.

In this system:

  • Sometimes you guide your child
  • Sometimes your child guides you
  • In short: you may throw your child, and your child may throw you

Objectives:

  • Developing a sense of trust
  • Improving physical coordination
  • Strengthening the parent-child bond
  • Supporting social adaptation

Evaluation Lesson

Before joining our training programs, children must attend an evaluation lesson.

During this lesson, we assess:

  • Physical suitability
  • Adaptation within a group setting

Parents actively participate during the evaluation process.

At the end of the evaluation:

  • If the child enjoys the training
  • If the parent finds it suitable
  • And if we approve

Then registration proceeds with mutual agreement.

Training Frequency

Flexible participation options are available:

  • Once per week
  • Twice per week

Since Aikido does not include competition and this age group focuses entirely on development:

📌 Once per week is generally considered sufficient and ideal for ages 3–4.

A twice-per-week option is also available.

All classes are 1 hour long, structured, and highly efficient.

  • Saturday: 12:00 & 16:00
  • Sunday: 12:00 & 16:00

Bakırköy Branch

  • Saturday: 16:00
  • Sunday: 16:00

All branches offer suitable options for beginners.

Membership Options

For this age group:

  • 3-month membership
  • 6-month membership

Monthly registration is not available.

Our goal is to work with students who can commit to regular, disciplined, and long-term training.

For those who are hesitant about long-term commitment, private lessons are available as a starting option.

Private Lesson Process

  • An instructor is assigned
  • A meeting and first lesson take place
  • A mutual evaluation is conducted afterward
  • If continuing, a package of 5 or 10 lessons can be purchased
  • The first lesson is deducted from the package
  • If not continuing, only the single lesson fee is charged

Payment & Membership Flexibility

  • All fees are clearly listed in the price table
  • Installment options are available via credit card
  • Memberships can be frozen for periods of 1 month or more (up to 1 year total)

Make-Up Lessons

  • 6-month membership: 10 make-up classes
  • 3-month membership: 5 make-up classes

Missed classes can be rescheduled with a reservation.

Your fixed training time can be changed:

  • 3-month membership: 1 time
  • 6-month membership: 2 times

Evaluation Lesson

An evaluation lesson is mandatory for group class participation.

  • Fee: 1200 TL + VAT
  • If you register on the same day, this fee is deducted from your membership

  • Walk-ins are not accepted
  • Only participants with a prior appointment are admitted

Since classes for this age group are conducted with a parent, it is recommended that the evaluation lesson is also attended together.

Pricing (Ages 3–4)

Group Classes – Once Per Week

  • 6 Months:
    5200 × 6 = 31,200 TL + VAT = 37,440 TL
  • 3 Months:
    7800 × 3 = 23,400 TL + VAT = 28,080 TL

  • 6 Months:
    9360 × 6 = 56,160 TL + VAT = 67,392 TL
  • 3 Months:
    14040 × 3 = 42,120 TL + VAT = 50,544 TL
